**Yes - These Modding softwares are intended to unlock Branded Motorola Phones (So you can Personalize them. Change the look and feel of the User Interface). These softwares were developed for Motorola OS. However, there are no final and tested modifications (Skins, User Interface, etc) yet for Motorola Razr V3x according to known Modding Communities like motomodders.net. Or even if there are, those are just versions taken from Razr V3i and I should say not as reliable. You may try to use these softwares but the risk is out there. After all, No Pain No Gain! I myself tried to download some of these softwares but haven't installed it into my Laptop yet. And just for one purpose (at least for now), to master how they work so If I want to start modding my V3x, I know exactly how to do it! Should you want to give it a try, make sure you backup everything!

Hi, i just modded my v3x with the latest firmware (as they said). Its quite good. The sound and display quality was improved, video recording now with a pause function. at first I was hesitant to do that i but it only takes a little courage to risk your investment. hehehe
For me, the reflashes being downloaded are safe. You just have to follow their instructions carefully.
I just had only problem after I modded my phone, the laguage was set to italian. You just need to have your manual with you to change the language again to english.
Kakatuwa at sarap ng pakiramdam pag successful yung ginawa mo... Pero habang ginagawa mo yung modding process (about 15-20 mins) kakabahan ka talaga kasi baka mag crash ang fon mo... hehehe

I am thinking of modding my phone as well but still hesitant to give it a shot. And Yes, some people said that doing a little modding on your V3x will improve some of its capabilities. One thing I am interested in is that you can have your V3x produce smooth video records. Should there be more improvements in your V3x after modding, please post them here so to give our friends some interesting Options! Cheers!

Hi Solo, Hi Ash,
I used the reflash file made by Famonaco, the Helomoto edition using RSD Lite 3.1. (I cant remember the addrees where i downloaded the file but you can easily find it using google)
Re-video quality, I guess the resolution has improved a bit same also with the sound quality.
But for me, the best add on is that I can now pause while recording videos. hehehe
Guys, beware of experimenting and setting your network band much higher than 1800, my phone crashed last weekend trying to discover if my 3G signal will be better if i set my band to a much higher value. (Sorry for my Ignorance to Network Bands). My fon got crashed like you cannot see anything on the screen but a white light blinking. hehehe (I hope i described it right, barok english ko e) Thanks to RSD lite and I flashed my fon back to where it was.

Hello to all!
I have tried modding since I had Motorola and was still using V3i... Well, I just have a few questions more... Will RSD lite 2.7 work with V3x? That's the current version I have and have not yet flashed my phone... ;D
Anyways, for those who would like to Install new themes just use P2k Commander, it's much easier... You just need to add a new folder and put in the themes there, restart the phone, and it's there! Well, I can see that many folks here visit motomodders as well, it's a very good site although try to go to motox's site to download firmware... I need to warn you guys that if you install firmware that is not on the same bootloader as your phone, it will not open... You would need to flash/reflash again with a firware that is on the same bootloader as your phone... If your phone does not appear to start, try to go to bootloader mode to flash again. You can do this by pressing * and # simultaneously and then powering up your phone... Yup, use three fingers! More info at motomodders.net
**Thanks lhon0901! Welcome to our forum! Thanks for providing us something to be aware of. I haven't Modd my Moto yet so i must admit I am not that knowledgeable when it comes to that. Hope you can share some tips and some other good stuffs to make this forum more helpful. Cheers!

Although I have not tried all of the skins Also try this forum, it has a lot of useful stuff: motostuff.forumcommunity.net/ and the Motox site I referred to earlier: www.planetmotox.net (For firmwares...) If you guys have other sites that has more firmware, please do post it here! [/purple]

[purple] Yo!
I found this new firmware, for those who likes to continously upgrade thier firmware. It's NEW REFLASH R252211LD_U_85.9B.E5P found on novadrive, and according to the forum on motomodders, it says "Yes,,, fast menus, some bugs fixed. ITs cool, Motorola dont make firmware, for nothing. ENJOY GUYS. Bye." It should be better than it's predecessor, the E2p firmware. It hung up on me and I have to reflash my phone. I'll try this one and see if the same thing will happen, this then, the best it still the 9b_DOR...
I'll try to give the results as soon as I reflashed my phone... Sira pa PC ng tito ko, nakikigamit lang kasi ako, eheehehe... ^_^ [/purple]
