Hi Every All~! I mean, everyone! ;D
Well, I just want to see if you guys are familiar with my scenario. I uninstalled my MPT last week and when I try to use it this morning, I get an Error Message. I also noticed that when I try to launch the Multimedia Center and the File Transfer, It doesn't show my Phone's Root Directory or even my TransFlash.
Here are the steps to reproduce the scenario (for TroubleShooting):
Internet Connection Error:
1. I connected my Razr V3x then launch the MPT. 2. Everything looks normal. I click on the Internet Connection button and an Error Message pops up: RAS Creation Failed!
Multimedia Center and File Transfer:
1. I click on Multimedia/File Transfer. 2. Select a Picture then select Transfer to Phone. 3. A pop up window appears saying: Unable to Communicate with Phone.
Note: I uninstalled and reinstalled MPT for 3 times now and still get the same issues.
Thanks for any recommendations that you may have.
;D

[purple] Hello!
Well, I suggest you try this one:
Try to do a system restore first, go to a date earlier than the date you initially installed MPT. Then, install MPT first before connecting your phone. When MPT is installed first it will usually install (usually) the drivers neede to have your phone detected by MPT. By the way, try this one at the same time... The first time you will connect your phone using data/fax connection, try to remove your memory card initially... I don't know why we need to do this but I saw on some forums that on the first time you need to hook-up your phone to a software part of the troubleshooting is to remove the SD card the first time you will use any S/W with your phone. Hope this helps! [/purple]
