Let me begin with the Not-so-Complicated steps. ;D If you are a Globe Subscriber, then you're lucky! Why? Live TV Streaming is FREE of charge! You just have to make sure you have the following: - A Strong 3G Signal
- myGlobe Connect
- myGlobe Stream
If so, you may begin by Launching your Web Browser. This will take you to myGlobe 3G Portal. Click on Videos and scroll down to Live Videos. You will see the Channels in there and just select what you want. Your phone will then attempt to connect to the Media Server. Sit back and Enjoy! Want some Tips? Well, you may also begin by creating Web Shortcuts for ABS-CBN, GMA 7, CNN, and ANC. You can do this by following these simple steps: 1. Go to Web Access and select Web Sessions 2. Under Options, select New and enter these Parameters: - GMA 7 - rtsp://203.177. 154.141/encoder/ gma7.rm
- CNN - rtsp://203.177. 154.141/encoder/ gmacnn.rm
- ABS-CBN - rtsp://203.177. 154.141/encoder/ ABS-CBN.rm
- ABS-CBN News Channel - rtsp://203.177.154.141/encoder/ANC.rm
Next, Go to Web Sessions and make sure you select myGlobe Stream as Default. Go to your Web Shortcuts again and Launch your desired station. This way, you don't have to go through myGlobe 3G Portal before you can access these Live videos! And Enjoy!

Hi Solo,
Do you have any idea on how to boost the 3G signal. I'm always having a 2.5G on my phone. I have all the setting needed to stream, its just the 3G signal thats preventing me to watch tv shows on my v3x. I always get a "Connection Lost" message everytime I'm trying to connect to one of the shortcuts that you have provided here.
Thanks! Hoping to0 hear from you soon... Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays! **Happy Holidays man! Unfortunately we can't do anything to Boost your 3G signal. Remember that it is Network Dependent. It has something to do with Globe's cell sites. There are several 3G sites that were configured to support different locations in the Philippines. Let's take a look on the Areas where 3G Signal is implemented: 202.91.163.12/g35g/coverage.asp?c=1After you check that 3G signal is available in your area, Make sure that your V3x is set to switch to 3G automatically when 3G signal is detected! Here's how: 1. Go to Settings and select Network. 2. Scroll down and Select Network Setup. 3. Change Band to Automatic. Now, let's set myGlobe Stream as Default from your Web Session. (Web Sessions -> myGlobe Stream -> as Default) We are doing this just to stream TV Feeds. Other than that, you will need myGlobe GPRS/Connect to be your Default Web Session. After everyhting is done, all you have to do is to wait until you get the 3G icon. If so, go to Web Shortcuts and start streaming! ;D

Well, siguro na din dahil ala pa sa system ang number ko... (Starts with 0906...) Hopefully, sana maka-stream na din ako soon...! Thanks again![/purple]

Hi All,
Too bad... after a series of trial and errors on my web sessions, I still can't stream on my v3x... I will not give up, I have to make my v3x to stream... hahaha
Ngayon ko lang napatunayan na mas challenging ang motorola sa nokia... There's a lot of things that you can discover on your motorola phone.
Back to streaming: Does anybody here who can upload their websession file here?
Question: How can I upload files here? screen shots?
Thanks!

[purple]Websession File? What do you mean? Anyways, the manual configuration for streaming on motorola phone is on this site... Try to manually configure your phone... Basically, you would just need to put this for your APN: real.globe.com.ph... You will have a hard time streaming if you are not having 3g signals... And you would need to set the stream websession as your default everytime you would like to browse... And before doing so, Try to save the live streaming page first so that it would load automatically, and then set the streaming webssesion as default. Afterwards, load the saved page, go to the channel you would like to stream to, (I suggest that you try to stream CNN first, the admin here said it would be easier), then that's it! I had problems streaming before, and would like to inform you that if you are using a 0906 number or a number that's new, you would have a hard time streaming... I have to call Globe to have them activate my number on thier system... Any more questions, please feel to ask... [/purple]

Hi Lhon, I've done every detail of the manual settings provided on this forum but I still failed to stream... If im going to ask globe to activate my number to stream, will they ask any question that I must be careful on my answers? If they ask my phone model? They usually stressed that they do not support streaming on v3x.

Hello,
I still can't stream using my V3x. Im calling Globe almost every night to activate my number but they are always directing me to wait for the stream setting which I already have. And sometimes, talk about installing a real one player on my phone. Upon saying that v3x is a real one enabled phone, thay would just say that v3x is not supported for streaming.
I really don't know whats the problem with those guys. They have different versions for all my calls. hehehe
Anyways, I'm still hoping to make my phone stream SOMEDAY! hahaha
Anyone from this forum who's experiencing the same problem as mine?

Well, that's the same scenario others have. You can go to www.freewebs.com/solomoto and you will see I even feature that in the News! hehehehehe. Sometimes they just don't know what to say. Saying V3x is not supported is the best way to finish the conversation on the phone. And that's disappointing. Try to follow the steps I have provided again and pay more attention to details. I recommend that you begin by following the "Configure it yourself" link at www.freewebs.com/solomoto. Don't give up man! ;D

[purple] @teng,
Hello!
Try calling them again, and inform them to "escalate the call to thier IT department or the department that handles the activation." Inform them that you know somebody that can stream on thier v3x phone on a globe sim. It worked for me. I can attest also that motorola has a built-in real player or can play real media so you should be able to stream.
Hope this helps!
